Firesphere is a app to help residents of the wildland urban interface engage with their wildfire risk. Use the app to record what you see in your community, and we will estimate fire behavior calculations based on these observations. Each geolocated photo is stored in a database, and may be accessed by firefighters in our partner communities to determine effective response strategies. They may also be used by you, the user, to get a sense of which areas of your community are the most at risk of a catastrophic fire. Like to compete against your neighbors? Weve got you covered -- join a team or try to make the most individual observations. The more data points we collect, the more accurate our fire behavior results will be.
